SEP 24: RUMORS: NEXT ALBUM
Okay - here's what's been rumored about what Everclear is doing in
the next few months.
1) Art has told some people that he's scrapped the solo record in
favor of the next Everclear record. Some songs from the solo record
may appear on said Everclear record.
2) Art told MTV that he's planning two Everclear albums next year.
No official confirmation yet from Everclear's label or management.
Truthfully? Getting a second album next year seems somewhat unlikely.
Major labels are traditionally
resistant to releasing two records so close together, unless the second
record is a live album, a b-sides / rarities album, or a holiday record.
The bottom line is that Capitol hopes to put
out an Everclear record of some kind sometime early next year. For
the time being, don't expect more than that.
SEP 22: RUMOR: DUST BROTHERS ALBUM

that could appear on the next Dust Brothers album, due out sometime in 2000.

SEP 17: SPITFIRE TOUR
According to Sonicnet News,
Art is tentatively scheduled to appear on this fall's Spitfire Tour. The
Spitfire Tour is a spoken word tour, so don't expect to see Art with a guitar.
He's apparently only appearing on a handful of Midwestern dates, however, and
not on the entire tour.

"Santa Monica" from Woodstock '99 will be appearing on the upcoming
