Guitar magazine has updated their web page to reflect Art being featured in the March 1999 issue.

FEB 9: EVERCLEAR ON HOWARD STERN

Everclear are scheduled to appear on the Howard Stern show on Monday, March 15th. They will be interviewed and will perform in-studio. (This is a new appearance, not a re-run.)

They should be on around 8:30am ET, subject to change.

I called the Geneseo box office this morning for some info about this show.

When I asked about ticket information, they said that the tickets are going on sale on 2/10 for Geneseo students only and the price for those will be around $16. The tickets go on sale for the general public on 2/15 and that price will be around $24.

Everclear are scheduled to appear on the Kevin and Bean show on KROQ in Los Angeles this Friday.

They should be on around 8:30am PT.

FEB 1: EVERCLEAR ON LIVE 105

Everclear are scheduled to guest DJ tonight (Monday) on San Francisco radio station Live 105.

They should be on at 7:00pm PT.

JAN 31: TRIPLE J - 1998 HOTTEST 100

"Father of Mine" placed at number 53 on Australian radio network Triple J's Hottest 100 of 1998.

JAN 29: PALLADIUM CYBERCAST

The Sno-Core concert at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday, February 6th, will be cybercast by LiveConcerts.com.

JAN 29: LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN

Everclear will appear on the Late Show with David Letterman on Friday, March 5th. They will be performing "One Hit Wonder".

JAN 21: ACCESS HOLLYWOOD

Capitol's Everclear page is reporting that behind-the-scenes footage of the filming of the One Hit Wonder video will be airing this Saturday, January 23rd, on the syndicated program Access Hollywood.

JAN 19: TONIGHT SHOW APPEARANCE

Everclear is set to perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Thursday, January 21. They plan to perform "Father of Mine".

JAN 15: OHW VIDEO PREMIERES

The new video for "One Hit Wonder" premiered on MTV on Total Request Live this past Monday. Art called in and had a brief discussion with Carson.

The video was directed by McG, who previously filmed videos for the Offspring ("Pretty Fly..."), Fastball ("The Way"), and Barenaked Ladies ("One Week").

JAN 15: AMA APPEARANCE

This past Monday, Everclear also appeared at the American Music Awards. They introduced a performance by a reunited Blondie.

Apparently, AllStar News caught Art backstage talking about a cookbook. Check out the article at their website. The comments from Art are about two-thirds of the way down.

JAN 6: GRAMMY AWARD NOMINATION

Everclear was nominated today for a Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental for "El Distorto de Melodica".

The Grammy's will be held February 24 at the Shrine Theater in Los Angeles, CA. They will be broadcast live on CBS.

(Note - This award will probably not be televised during the live broadcast.)

JAN 6: SMFTA GOES DOUBLE PLATINUM

The RIAA has officially certified So Much For the Afterglow as reaching double platinum status. In other words, SMFTA has sold more than two million copies in the United States.

JAN 6: Q: CAN I RENEW MY FAN CLUB MEMBERSHIP AND GET A NEW MEET AND GREET PASS?

Yes, you can re-sign up for the fan club. And, yes, you might receive another fan pass.

But, remember, the Sno-Core tour is not an "Everclear" tour - meaning that Everclear's people aren't booking the tour. When Everclear's people book the tour, they organize the Meet and Greets. Since they're not booking the tour - no Meet and Greets.
